Mission StatementArmstrong Forensic Laboratory, Inc. is
committed to excellence in the production of analytical data and consulting
services. To meet this commitment, Armstrong Short History Dr. Andrew T. and Kay Armstrong opened Armstrong Forensic Laboratory (Armstrong) in 1978 as an analytical laboratory designed to support arson investigators with fire cause determinations. The Laboratory was incorporated in 1981 and by 1985, the business expanded into general and environmental chemistry. Understanding and anticipating the needs and growth of the industrial hygiene community, prompted Armstrong to increase services and competency to include accreditation by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) in 1988. Armstrong has added AIHA Environmental Microbiology to the list of accreditations. In 2006, National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation for Louisiana and Texas has been added for specific environmental monitoring. April 2007, The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued Provisional Crime Lab Accreditation. Armstrong Forensic Laboratory, Inc. is a woman-owned business entity designated by the State of Texas as a Historically Underutilized Business. Operating from a single site location in North Central Texas, Armstrong continues to offer full service analytical testing coupled with consulting expertise in a wide range of topics. The experienced multi-disciplinarian staff offers our clients a wide range of analytical capability and data interpretation. In addition, consultants are available to present and interpret court data both in civil and criminal litigation. The goal at Armstrong has always been, and continues to be, to provide each client quality, court-ready facts. |
